The Dominion Fragments was composed during the fall and winter of 1996-1997 in Hampton, Virginia for the Dominion Trio (Fay Putnam, mezzo-soprano; F. Gerald Errante, clarinet; Ruth Winters, piano). The work is the sequel to my Three Psalm Fragments for Soprano and Bb Clarinet, and consists of eleven movements performed attacca.
