Piano Sonata No. 7 was composed during the fall/winter of 2016/2017. Three movements are presented in this work and are performed attacca. The “Moonlight Sonata” of Beethoven has a direct influence on this composition. This work consists of a Nocturne, Dirge, and Escapade.
The work is composed in celebration of the 35th anniversary of marriage to Charlotte Stokes.
